Coping with English for Academic Purposes Provision during COVID-19

COVID-19 and the shift to online teaching necessitated a change in approach for English Academic Purposes (EAP) teachers preparing their students university studies. This study explored how EAP instructors coped with adapted provision emergency remote teaching. The was conducted at an English-medium Hong Kong qualitative case adopted. results revealed two overarching themes of opportunity challenge. While sudden forced innovation fostered collaborative learning feedback, experienced difficulties communicating monitoring learning. voices teacher perspectives delivering courses highlights important implications successful delivery future provisions.
